These Terms govern use of ShyftMate. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to use ShyftMate lawfully and in accordance with your employer's rules and any applicable agreements or procedures.
What ShyftMate does
ShyftMate helps authorized organization members offer, discover, claim, and track shift opportunities. ShyftMate is an employee coordination tool and is not your employer, staffing agency, payroll provider, or scheduling authority.
Employer procedures still apply
ShyftMate does not replace employer scheduling, approval, attendance, payroll, union, contractual, safety, or company procedures. You are responsible for completing any employer-required steps before a shift change becomes effective.
Shift information
Users are responsible for the accuracy of shift details they submit. A shift shown as open, claimed, awaiting approval, canceled, or otherwise updated in ShyftMate does not override an employer's official records or requirements.
Incentives
Any employee-to-employee incentive is separate from ShyftMate. ShyftMate does not collect, hold, transfer, verify, guarantee, or enforce incentive payments. Users are responsible for any arrangements they make with one another.
Accounts and organizations
You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your account secure. You may only access organizations, roles, and shift information you are authorized to use. Attempts to bypass organization boundaries, impersonate others, or interfere with the service are prohibited.
Subscriptions and trials
Where offered, ShyftMate may provide a free trial and paid monthly or annual access. Subscription billing, renewals, refunds, and cancellation may also be governed by the applicable app store or payment provider terms.
Availability
We work to keep ShyftMate reliable, but no service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. In-app Bell and push delivery may also depend on mobile operating systems, network connectivity, and other third-party services.
Acceptable use
Do not use ShyftMate to harass others, misrepresent shift availability, gain unauthorized access, disrupt the service, distribute malicious content, or violate law, employer policy, or the rights of others.
Changes
ShyftMate may evolve over time. Features, pricing, and these Terms may be updated as the service develops. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
