Delete in the app
- Sign in to ShyftMate.
- Open Help & Legal.
- Choose Delete account.
- Review the explanation and complete the final confirmation.
Deletion disables sign-in, signs out active sessions, anonymizes the account profile, and removes personal notification, device-token, preference, and active entitlement data.
Deleting your ShyftMate account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel an active store subscription separately through your Apple or Google account to avoid future charges.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@getshyftmate.com from the email address connected to your ShyftMate account with the subject Delete my ShyftMate account. Do not send your password or a verification code. Support will verify account ownership before processing the request.
Data deleted or anonymized
- Your ShyftMate sign-in is disabled and active sessions are revoked.
- Your account email, phone number, name, and profile are removed or replaced with a non-identifying deleted-user record.
- Personal notification preferences, push tokens, notification delivery records, and active paid entitlement records are removed.
- Sole-user shift offers are deleted. Shared recent shifts needed by another active member retain the participant name recorded for that shift.
- Active organization memberships are closed as part of the account-deletion workflow.
Limited records that remain
ShyftMate retains irreversible hashes derived from verified email, verified phone, installation and, when supplied, network identifiers, plus original trial dates, only to prevent repeated free-trial or account abuse. Raw deleted-account email and phone values are not stored in this anti-abuse ledger or shown to organizations.
Shared workplace shift history, including the participant names recorded with those shifts, remains subject to ShyftMate’s two-year shift-date retention period. Organization identity and lifecycle records, membership dates and events, minimal historical membership display names and roles, pseudonymized subscription/business records, administrative audit and archive records, and anonymized or aggregated statistics may be retained longer for legitimate operational, security, financial, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes. A protected Platform Admin administrative-history record may retain your historical display name, verified email address, and verified phone number so ShyftMate can identify prior members and account lifecycle events. It is not exposed to ordinary users or organizations and does not restore your disabled account.
